Dandelions, an invasive weed or medicinal hero? 

 

Did you know you can eat the whole flower on the simple Dandelion?

It's like Spring and Summer rolled into one even, it is thought to support eye health and help to alleviate headache, backache, and menstrual cramps. 

 

Dandelion Easy Tea recipe: 

  • dandelion flower tips – pick them from your garden or a source away from roadsides and parks. Give them a shake and rinse

  • water – freshly boiled

  • honey  – or sugar, maple syrup or agave syrup

  • lemon juice – or lime juice

Pick out the yellow and white flower stems and place them in the teapot or a strainer. Pour boiling water over them, leave to infuse and add a few drops of lemon juice and honey if you like.
